Sometimes the GREAT WHITE will disengage from you by jumping into the air out of water with your boost! This trick makes it easy for 3 full attacks before he bites back! Obviously a bit of practice might be needed, but it eventually works like 9 out of every 10 tries at this point! The BLACKTIP had to reconnect like 4-5 different times with hit-n-run tactics, but both the TIGER SHARK and BROWURAG where able to semi-tank some bites. Most of the time while latched on you can wait for him to turn away from you while your bite is locked on, that is when you bite him again. It's very important to get the drop on him from his tail preferred. These are 3 of my favorite fish to play and becoming the APEX-PEDATOR usually takes 20 to 40 minutes! The real trick is to get the first hit and even the second before he can attack back.
I beat him at the following levels per difficulty with: Keep the damn thing locked to it's own area so it doesn't chase you all over the bloody centre.
Just so I can get the achievement finally but can't!īut I've had enough of this utter nonsense for tonight. Wasted 3-4 hours trying to work around this, I don't know, bug or glitch or whatever. I've even had it chase me through the shipwreck without me even going near it because I'm going along the bottom! But oh, The Great White doesn't give two utter ♥♥♥♥♥ and goes deeper then it should. By the time this stupid stuff happens I AM STILL NOT STRONG ENOUGH. What BS is that? In order for me to fight it I need a higher level which as we all know means you get bigger. Why does it break away from it's area in the middle of the map near the surface to go all the way to the deepest part of the map just because I'm too big. It keeps leaving it's designated zone whenever I become something anywhere near large enough to last more then 1 bite.
